Strokes and shots

Lolx saturday.

I managed to FINALLY get the feel of the ball and racket. FINALLY know the grip that fits me, and KNOW HOW TO USE THE GRIP TO MY ADVANTAGE!!! At least it's a start, after half a year -.- XD Woohoo!!!

Then came the totally-freaked-me part. Someone whom I know suddenly sms me asking whether I am free now. ._. Yea dat's how I looked like when I first saw the message. Until now I still don't really understand if why you ask me whether I'm free. The bball? Hahax anyway...yea, after that we went to play bball, hopefully to help the person...at least feel better. :D Well, I certainly hoped it worked. I got a thank you message after the whole bball thing.

Hahax the person..."My huge achievement: I HIT THE RIM!"

One word: Hilarious...XD

BSP camp

k got to rush liaox...SO MANY THINGS TO TYPE, SO LITTLE TIME~~~

hmm BSP camp...seriously, I don't know where to start leh...

Well, I was uhh 'dumped' into Group 10, and well, everyone got to know each other quite fast actually. We call our group 石头, coz none of us (except 1) is very contributive to uhh...everything?! XD

Yea then comes the games on Day 1. After 破冰 (direct translate if you duno what this is) games, the games that followed, esp the rubber band n straw thing. SO HATE THAT GAME! SUPER GROSS! it's like...2 straws that separates all our mouths._. disgusting. OH BUT I RELI LUV THE CHEER!!! Awesome man! It started with a normal cheer, then after adding A LOT OF bits and pieces in the cheer, BRILLIANT!!! originality! ~~hehe...suddenly think of David Cook~~~~~

Then I think came the games at night. Hahax I think everyone play the game where everyone stepped on noodles, tomatoes and eggs (all mixed tgt). Absolutely no appetite from then on. (I couldn't eat much for all my meals the next day. lolx i think the Dunman ppl can help me 'testify' this. Say I on diet -.-)

Hmm but after Day 1, I actually enjoyed it. I duno how...but I did. xD

Then came Day 2. Apparently, it started off like Day 1. Everyone like don't know each other all of a sudden. Hahax oh by this day, my group managed 2 write off the tag that 'HC ppl always stick with NY ppl, and RV stick with Dunman'. It was more of Dunman wiv HC ppl. NY n RV a bit, but RV more close to us. xD Hmm 2nd day was also the 1st time I slept during the talk. It's totally boring leh! Hahax but I somehow understand it! ~~(Some thoughts in my sleep make me understand the whole talk)~~

I think the ~~best~~ ¡WiLdEsT¡ was Day 2's night. (hmm sounds wrong here~) It was performance day. Group, School performance...blah blah blah~ Hahax everyone wanted 2 do script. My group did something different, but I think we kind of screwed up the singing. I think we were even off-rhythm, not even going near 'off-melody'! XD But it showed our unity, THAT'S NEVER A DOUBT...

Same goes the school performance. Only thing good about our performance is the unity. OH AND (most) HCI PPL LISTEN UP! (I think almost all know who Mr i-got-2-year-all-subjects-exemption-CONSECUTIVELY is...yea, I just realised he's not just the brains. Hahax he can do headstand seh~) Pin ning says HC performance was funny-.- (thanks -.-). Well, better than no uhh...'compliments'~

Hmm then came final day. A bit quiet. Emotional farewell. But when Lu Chang went upstage to call the BSC people take picture...WOOHOO! I WENT MAD! Ran to the front stage...hahax smarty Sean actually brought the Beijing school jacket, which makes the picture even more meaningful. Hahax to all who are going Beijing, bet you didn't see the jacket! XD U'll wear it sooner than you think...~

Even after the whole BSP camp, there is still fun! Hahax went 2 play bball with 3 people from my group, and two girls and a dude, whom I don't know. (Only know their all from RV :D) That was when I SUDDENLY realised..GIRLS CAN PLAY BBALL VERY WELL! to be more exact, the first time I've ever seen girls play bball like that. Hahax pin ning, RARE SPECIES~ XD

I also found out boss (Yo, boss! ~Jiale) play bball darn well!!! Wasted that he's actually not in Basketball in Dunman lor~

woohoo! deserved winner rawks big time!!!!

LOL! This is ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE. Within 11 hours of David C's win, his 4 songs (Time of My Life and the 3 songs he sang on the finale) reached number 1-4 respectively in US n Canada iTunes charts! The most 'imba' thing is, he managed to knock off Rihanna, Natasha Bedingfield, Coldplay and even Leona Lewis!!! Siao seh...xD

Time Of My Life d lyrics is reli nice. But melody-wise, I think he sing Always Be My Baby can make it a much BIGGER HIT. :D

Hahax oh i 4gt 2 put this. Maybe I should put it in CAPS. :D

Simon Cowell actually apologised to David Cook for being 'a bit harsh' when judging his songs! Hahax he said when he went back to watch it again and again, he felt David Cook didn't really do as not-so-good-ly as he has judged. xD

Hehe...a case of In-Your-Face? or Serve You Right? Or BOTH? XD

AI reeeeeeeeeflect!!!

after 2day's performances by both the Davids, I have found out 1 thing. It's either S Cow biased, or he duno how to judge!!! :@

From a middle man POV, David Cook still was the better man. He used all his 3 songs to sing different songs that shows THREE DIFFERENT SIDES OF HIM (SENTIMENTAL-ROCK , ROCK, SOUL) I can see he really dedicates all these to his bro.

I'm not blaming David A. He did great. Congrats! :D but I duno how many people noticed it, he all sang songs around the same genre. Hahax...and dun believe there's a middle man POV? My father actually watched American Idol FOR THE FIRST TIME IN HIS LIFE!!! Guess what he said? (I DID NOT INFLUENCE HIM AT ALL) He can hear...that David Cook has his own style, more variety, whereas David A doesn't give him any spark at all when he sings. Quite surprised my dad actually said that...

I think my father's right. I just realised if David A didn't choose the songs he has chosen to sing tonight, he would have been beaten FLAT. FACE DOWN!

Well, what's done is done. I'm still going for the same guy I've been following all these while - David Cook.

S Y R!!!

I CAN CONCLUDE:

1) 2day is a weird day, with a weird, but nevertheless, helpful friend :D

2) JM's album I only like 2 songs of 12! :S (Told You So and Not Your Enemy)

Previous album's still better.

3) I have an IHE exam test tml which I am (apparently) not going to study for, though it's double weightage. o.O o.O o.O

4) Tomorrow is chi-iiiong DAY!!! Aft IHE exam got to run my NAPFA 2.4km, then come back sleep, then WATCH AMERICAN IDOL!!!, then CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FINAL!!! Strenuous, but so very worth it...~~~

Talking bout NAPFA, I actually showed my integrity today :D :D :D. The P.E teacher forgot to record my NAPFA 5 items, and though I did think about lying about my sit and reach (which I just passed and WILL COST ME MY NAPFA GOLD), I still said my actual result :D hehe...I guess it's hard for me to lie xD...sometimes...

HOWEVER, this napfa tingy also let me know that actually, the most mild-mannered teacher, can actually be the most unreasonable 1. There are 2 PE teachers, the not-so-mild-mannered looking teacher kindly asked for my results. The other one !@£$^*O*$£)%*(£(&*)(&*%^&$^£$£@@@!!! He IMMEDIATELY SHOUTED AT ME, ~~saying~~ shouting, "WHY DIDN'T YOU COME FOR PE LESSON LAST WEEK?!"

I only got 1 thing to say to him, "YOZ, **O***, if you're been listening to your fellow colleague, I DID MY NAPFA LAST WEEK!!! ABSOLUTELY GOT NOTHING BETTER TO SAY ABOUT HIM. My impression of you took a huge transformation, FOR THE WORSE!

And nothing will ever change that...

K I'm gonna keep this short...coz SOMEONE says my posts are all darn long -.- (no name-mentioning~~~)

How Do You Sleep by JM is not really a nice song. Leavin' is better. But on the overall, I SEE NO REASON WHY I SHOULD BUY HIS ALBUM. I prefer you OLD TEEN STYLE, WITH A FEW love songs here and there, JM. Why love songs? 'Coz that's the best way of showing how good a singer and songwriter YOU REALLY ARE. (Just have to look at Because You Live or even Bleeding Love to know how good he is.)

oh I also (somehow) wanna thank Syesha, who was umm...eliminated from A.I last week. Well, at least from her, I managed to find out actually, If I Ain't Got You by Alicia Keys is a very good song :D, though it still doesn't match anything near David Cook's one playing right now!!! xD

And there was a poll done...and 75% preferred David Cook, compared to 25% of David A. (Didn't know it's so uhh one-sided)

Oh and I heard Jonas Brothers are performing on American Idol results day finale. How true, I'm not sure at all. But at least it deserves THREE CHEERS :D

Barbecue...Kampung-style!~

Wow ytd may not b real sporty fun type, but I somehow (FOR THE FIRST TIME) had fun uhh...talking! Ytd went to my bro's p6 classmate's friends' grandparents' house, Jian Cheng's grandparents' house, which is also Miao Xiang's (d 1 frm 6 Wisdom -.-) grandparents' hse.

To my UTMOST SURPRISE, their house is not what I actually expected. It's so kampong, which makes it so so cool! N RARE!!! Unfortunately, I heard it's going to be demolished to make way for other stuff. N worst still, the grandparents who never lived anywhere else other than kampong styled-living have to suddenly shift to a TOTALLY NEW ENVIR

ONMENT. :( :( :( governments~~~ -.-

The place there was very windy, I didn't sweat a single bit! and the place was filled with lots of lots of plants, but still looks like there is A LOT OF SPACE TO SPARE!!! xD

This 'house'/shed used to be where the grandparent lived...cool eh? ;)

Woohoo! Cactus with flowers...rare, esp in S'pore eh? xD

But ironically, the most uhh fun ting was talking to 3 ppl whom I know n 2 other 'strangers' xD (hahax so sry to use this, Carol n Samantha xD) hahax...I also realise all the gals frm 6 Wisdom are so talkative....gossips a lot...or is it all gals? ._. lolx...

David Cook's performance of Always Be My Baby

Well, this is him performing in Week 7 that uhh shook the whole world xD. (Muz watch till the end...that's where he ~~cried~~ teared and the camera shifted to his older brother clapping :D

My encouragements to David Cook! :D

woohoo! an ALL-English final for Champions League, and an ALL-David final for American Idol. Hopefully Man Utd and David Cook wins.

For once i'm not gna talk about Man Utd. Hahax...but i really, really, really hope David Cook wins. David A looks too rigid, can't perform live, but nevertheless he is still young and has a good voice.

But the primary reason why I want David Cook to win is not because he has his style (true rocker!), but because of his brother, Adam Cook. To me, I think everything David Cook does in this competition, it's all for his older brother, who has advanced brain cancer. (not many people know this.)

Just look at his guitar and what he wore during the Top 5 Week. His brother's initials (AC) has always been on his guitar, and what he wore, absolutely dedicated to his brother.

This guitar has carried him throughout this whole competition. In a way, it shows that his brother has always been with him. Even his ill brother made a trip to watch him (under medical care). Incidentally, it was during the other performance that earned his total recognition in the world - the emergence of Always Be My Baby by Mariah Carey done in David C style. xD

I'm not sure how many people actually watched that episode (I was in Beijing :(, but I managed to watch it on youtube :D) David Cook actually cried, (k maybe 'teared') and was truly grateful after the comments by the judges. He even pointed in the direction of his brother, and his brother stood up to applaud him.

On another occasion, David Cook was rushed to the hospital after his blood pressure rose and his heart palpitating at an abnormal rate, probably due to a stress over a 'setback' over Adam's struggle with cancer. Of course, David's fine now.

That's true brotherly love, man. That's how grateful David Cook is to have a brother like Adam Cook, although I've never managed to know him in person. And that's why I hope, really really hope, David Cook wins.

I read somewhere that people are trying their best to let Adam Cook attend the finale of American Idol. Whether it has been confirmed, till now I'm not sure myself. But what I am sure is, David Cook will certainly be rocking out with his AC guitar...

My encouragements to David Cook....JIAYOUS!!! (hope to hear Always Be My Baby on the finale ;) )

haiz...sorry I didn't post for so long. 1 reason, and probably the most significant, is i really vry lazy liaox :S.

hahax well, my results r totally screwed, though I improve by double from 1st term. 2.5 currently, excluding IHC (maybe you all know it as SS ba) and Chinese. *Sigh* the only positive thingy I can conjure out of this??? The (supposedly) worse results r out. Bio: B4, Physics: C5 (EVERYONE FROM BSC SCREWED PHYSICS BIG TIME!!!) strength in unity :D

cheers fr BSC, man...really can't 4gt d people there. Most of them are now back here, though some r still there. (woohoo, Winston! another 10 more days, eh? ;) )

I feel St. Nick's education system a bit weird...uhh tests every wk??? Oh please, students are still human, though apparently one student feels it's ok to have tests coz it's a habit -.- (shan't nae who she is, she knows xD)

Oh ya BSC people, when are we going out to makan with Chen Tou??? Though I change class liaox, muz inform me, k? Woohoo!!! (and chen tou, u certainly slimmed down A LOT since you came back hor)
