I'M NOT GOING TO WATCH IT!!!

I read many reviews about the movie. Ok maybe just two sources: from The New Paper (1 male, and 1 female reporters reviewed the movie), and RottenTomatoes.com, but it is enough to tell me that Twilight, as RottenTomatoes say it, "will please its devoted fans, but do little for the uninitiated." In simple terms, finish reading the book if you want to watch the movie! xD

But that's not really why I don't wanna watch it actually. Definitely that is one of the reasons, b'coz one of my friends, who did not read the book, went to watch the sneak preview of Twilight and came out not understanding much of the movie! What a waste of ticket price, rite? This is why it is actually very difficult transitioning from a book into a movie, given the amount of cuts in terms of content~~~

Ok so what on earth is my main reason? Simple, and I actually got it from The New Paper. The guy who wrote the review has a point here. Think. The book is actually written more from a girl's POV (point of view), so definitely this is going to swarm most teen girls into the cinemas. Robert Pattison (Edward) and Kristen Stewart (Bella) look a great pairing, but it's more of the ambience in the cinemas that could quite freak me out. Why? Simply because of girls making squeals whenever Edward appears on the screen. xD Imagine if that happens (and it 100% will), it could be annoying after a while... -.-

In fact, just to cheer the fans up (or not:P), after watching the trailers, I think the one character that would really catch my attention...is the villain, Cam Gigandet who acts as James in the movie. Hahax I duno, I just feel the villain is really what makes this film stand out. Without them, Twilight would just be what many call "a modern teenage love story" + "vegetarian vampires".... :P

Did i mention the visual effects are a bit lame too? (sorry to spill this~)
