Situation: My friend has a singles tennis competition, but he can't make it tmr coz of his O lvls Chinese ppr tmr! >.<

Hence, I have 2 paths to take:

1. Go for it.

Gains: Experience, won't let my friend waste the money (coz he gains ranking points if i win :P)

2. Don't go for it.

Gains: Integrity

Which should I choose?

It seems quite clear which is more worth it, but apparently it's the latter.

Oh over here, I would like to thank supporter and no. 1 ARDENT FAN for their encouragement. And don't worry, I won't be affected with such stuff that much. Definitely that 'idiot' is doing so to put me off, I'm nt going to let him/her have her way. Good try, but too bad. :P

Besides, I kinda agree with umm...ardent fan. Great notorious name, 'idiot'. Hahax somehow the more ppl say it, the more vulnerable you get. In the end, the attempts to frighten me turns out to be driving power to get back at u! Scared, 'idiot'? You better be, and YOU BETTER PRAY...

However, at the same time, I hope you all can reveal yourselves. I really would be even more glad and grateful if I knew who it came from. If you all don't wanna tell it 2 everyone on my blog, how bout on MSN, eh?

According to rumours, it's coz the judges all support Lambert! And throughout the whole competition, they have likedLOVED his performances (except Ring Of Fire) as if he's already a mega star alongside Beatles, Mariah Carey, etc. -.- So the audiences feel so trapped that they have to be 'told' to vote for who. Hence, decision sways the other direction. Yay! :P

Rightly so though. Anyone who have watched the American Idol episodes this season, would have known that (at least from the time I watched: Top 13 onwards) the judges, no matter how awkward the performances are at times (inclusive of Ring Of Fire), the judges all love him to bits! Words like 'Rock God' and attitudes like going berserk (Yes, Abdul -.-) when he performs is just not right from every angle. My gosh, he's just a contestant, not one of the Beatles! Everyone has flaws. Just like Kris, which is his stage presentation. And Adam? His screaming, and sometimes jaw-dropping outrageous outfits. xD

Last season, we at least had a competition in our hands. The 2 Davids, both with their strong points and their weaknesses, fighting it out in a finale. But this season, such obvious flaw in 1 particular contestant went totally unnoticed (OR PURPOSELY IGNORED!), by none other than...the judges!>.< (Oh but i must commend Randy Jackson, coz he seems to be the only one still sensible enough to take a step back n give advices/criticisms to both ;) ) C'mon, everyone likes a fair fight. Why don't the judges understand that simple logic? -.-

In the end, the judges sway it Adam's way in a showing of propaganda, so to reach equilibrium (paiseh, added a bit of chemistry terms in here :D), everyone swayed it Kris Allen's way. And there you have it! So Adam, you're not totally to blame. :D And I say, Kris, show everyone that you deserve that winner spot! You have what it takes to go all the way! ;)

But let's take a look at the top 5 reasons I think y Kris Allen won :D

1) Switching legions

C'mon, let's be honest. It's hard not to enjoy Adam's performances on stage. Hence, those who have supported the other contestants are definitely anti-Adam! xD In other words, when their favourites are eliminated, they switch to the next anti-Adam contestant left...and in the finals? you know the rest~~~ 

The only exception I can think of is Allison, b'coz Adam and Allison are pretty similar, and seem 2 b closer than friends. After this competition, look out for these 2...they might just spark off the biggest rocking pair in the universe ;)

2) Massive support from fans

Hahax this could b quite hilarious, but umm just to state facts, Kris is more of the kind of simple, built and 'clean' guy who girlfriends will bring home to show their parents. Adam, not quite...

Don't get me wrong, both are so freaking nice people! Just that it'll take time for one to get used to having a punky-looking, skinny jeans boy in the new family. :S

Hence, Kris will have a stronger fan base, b'coz he appeals more to the 30s and 40s or even older. In fact, he appeals to the younger 1s too, just like Jason Mraz! On the contrary, Adam will only attract the tweens of today, and the emo-looking 1s. No more, no less.

3) Who needs a girl left in the competition?

Voice-wise, you could clearly hear who sounds more like what a man should sound like. Yes, Kris doesn't have a better vocal range than Adam, but when you compare the voices of these 2, 1 1 sounds like those screams into mike, while the other is a composed figure of a true medium (if not low)-pitched voice.

4) Your own downfall, Adam

1 is definitely his screaming. At the start, it may seem unique, as if he can hit the high notes, but after a while, it makes it sound as if he's juz screaming for fun! >.<

And this point certainly lost him a lot of fans. Tabloid pictures of him gaying around were sprayed across the internet, and he openly declared dat! My utmost respect and applause for stepping out n be proud of what he has done, but it certainly did not do himself much of a favour. :S Wrong timing ba, the stupid pictures~ -.-

5) Uniqueness in arrangement

This is, to me, Kris' main reason for winning this competition.

If you compare the 2 tracks by either artist played on 987FM (Adam Lambert: Mad World, Kris Allen: Heartless), you could see why Kris won alr! It's so obvious who's better in arranging. Both stuck to what they are good at, but in the finale, it was Kris who came out on top.

He must indirectly thank that great lyrical meaning, but poor fitting song for both Kris and Adam! The song, No Boundaries, doesn't give any of the contestants any form of room to express and rearrange! Luckily, the song fit better for him than for Adam~~~

Nevertheless, one thing I can confirm from this year's American Idol is, NEVER UNDERESTIMATE the DARK HORSE. It's anyone's game, esp when you have the slice of luck like 

Still, Adam Lambert will only be remembered for a great performance of Mad World, and a bizarre performance (hence, remembered for the wrong reasons! :S) for Ring Of Fire, whereas Kris Allen will be remembered for seldom putting a step wrong, and a memorable arrangement of Heartless (by Kanye West) in Top 3 performance, and Ain't No Sunshine in the finale~~~ Woohoo! :D

But it's kind of frustrating that Channel 5 use 'outrageousness' to describe Adam, even from a Kris Allen's fan point of view! How rude -.-

Yesterday, I learnt that it's really difficult 2 keep up teenage love.

There is so many friends you have to either keep it a secret, or openly show to everyone and get gossiped about. It's hard, but u have to make a choice.

Oh but I gotta say this, if u are choosing option 2, you must be ready to accept gossips, coz not everybody keeps stuff 2 themselves. Some are juz innocent straightforward people...so yea ;)

From Top 7 onwards, my guesses for the American Idols eliminated are all SPOT ON!!!

And finally, we're down to the at times rocker, at times soulman Adam Lambert, and the boy-next-door casually dressed Kris Allen. No prizes for who is getting more shrieks from the girls. 

Hahax but I've juz realised that after some girls actually jumped the wagon and support Kris now, all because there were pictures that depict Adam as gay. :S

I must firstly say I admire Adam's courage to step out and admit what he has done, (unlike sum spoilt brat by the name that rhymes with Smiley -.-), but what can I say? I've always supported Kris, and nothing's gonna change dat :P

So, since I've already made 5 or 6 correct guesses, I shall make a terribly bold decision to suggest..KRIS WILL WIN AMERICAN IDOL!!! It's very easy why I think so. Adam seems to need a lot of external help with the arrangements of songs, whereas Kris always does it effortlessly by himself. He really knows how to change songs to suit him, rather than the other way round. No doubt I have to agree that I believe Adam's vocal range (inclusive of the primal scream therapy:P) is much better than Kris'. However, I believe Adam won't really be the true singer-songwriter I would like in the future...just a singer :P

Kris? I heard many artists are actually supporting Kris. (YAY!) Alright, you get the point, so...Let's wait and see~~~ ;)

Well, getting the final result wrong will only be my first mistake...so it's still a good aggregate! :D

Of course Kris, MAKE IT A CLEAN SWEEP OF SPOT ON TACTICS please!!! :D

hahax last saturday was totally bizarre, man! During tennis, we started with a doubles match. I played reli well...yay! but that was probably the sun before the rain :S, as the most unexpected of events was about to happen.

Reaching out for a shot, I dived at it. (Oh it rained the previous night, so the ground is not fully dried at 10am yet :S) My supporting left leg suddenly slipped, and I lost balance, crashing into the hard fence. I kinda blanked out for a moment, but when I did regain my consciousness, I realised I had a bleeding cut on my hand, a twisted left thumb (I'm a lefty-handed player :P) and a huge bruise on my forehead. Yes you guessed it! It wasn't juz any normal collision..it was a HEAD-ON COLLISION!!! Ouch...~

Marvellous, eh?
