I take my words back.
Yea the snippet (i.e where both Kris n Adam sang during the American Idol finals) wasn't good at all, but it takes the whole song, and constant listening 2 actually like it. :D
Really good actually. It has that freedom kind of sound, esp when he sings the 'yea' parts XD. I think this song probably underlined his status as American Idol winner, and proved his point too! Well, he isn't that bad in the 1st place! >.<>
Besides the 'yea', i also love the way he ended the song. Nice way of ending 'there are no boundaries' ;)
However, I still think his best song till date is the awesome arrangement of Heartless by Kanye West. Genius, that 1.
Adam's version
His version took even more time to listening 2 like it. Partly it's coz I didn't really like him that much, and partly coz I was still on the verge of getting used to the high-pitched notes of his. His version gives those kind of eerie (or mebbe a tinge of solemn) feeling, then gradually becomes a rocking chorus. Nice nice! ;)
His version is more rock than Kris, obviously. Vocal-wise, I have no qualms at all who stands out, because you know who can really hit the high notes, even though it may sound a little ... yea.
Still, I love his arrangement of the song. And to be honest, he has more twists and turns in the song than Kris' version. Most evidently in his "so here I am, still, HOLDING ON"! Besides that, he even changed a little of the lyrics near the end of the song, and also came up with different high-pitched "There are no boundaries" XD. Nevertheless, it's nice, it's nice. ;)
Till date, his best song.
Sometimes I just wonder why he didn't do so during the finals...
