First and foremost,
HAPPY TEACHERS DAY!!!
I've given my gifts ytd already, hope the teachers like it. :D Not much, but at least it's appreciation to them. Not bad hor, teachers get 2 birthdays every year. Lucky lucky~
But the cliche sentence from them would be, "the best gift would be your good results."
-.- Not that we duno. -.-
And let's face it, most of us give gifts coz we wan them 2 understand our real intentions--that is, during EOYs, PLEASE MARK MORE LENIENTLY!!! XD
Now back to me.
I played better tenis ytd. I still have to work on my forehand, it doesnt seem smooth yet. :S Another to work on is my 2nd serve, coz at our level, we don't reli hav as high a 1st serve % as Mr Andy Roddick, rite? xD Power serves are good, but difficult 2 kip consistent. ;)
I fell ytd, leaving deep cuts near my left wrist and knee. :( Still, I continued playing on till Ben came back to play wiv Ashley. Then Ben twisted his ankle. Cursed court leh, Court 1. -.- I muz commend on my own resilience 2 continue keeping my mind on tennis despite the injury, and still continuing after washing my wound. Planted 2 plasters and I'm back on the court. Yay 2 mi! :D Nevertheless, hopefully the injury heals before SPEX starts for me.
Speaking of which, my SPEX competition next week is much better than the previous SPEX in April. The draw was much more kind to me. For singles, I have to win 2 matches 1st before I meet a seeded player (that is, if he wins his own matches. xD). As for doubles, I have 2 win my match with Nick against 2 ang mohs, then play 7th seed. -.-
Oh my singles is on Monday 1pm, and doubles is on Tuesday, 4pm. Wish me luck! :D
However, I'm still really afraid of my strings snapping :S Which brings me to ponder again. Is it reli worth using superspin strings? At the rate my strings are lasting, I think I can use all that money 2 buy a brand new (sub) racket!!!
Moving away from tennis, someone's making me vry envious of class tee. I've never had a class tee, or any tee specially made. Pity.
Mebbe 4E1 will have 1, i hope?
Well, my bday coincides with end of EOYs, rite? xD
Oh and last but not least, congratz on sumbody getting in2 NYGH nxt year. ;)
