Wow...looking at Man Utd's 19-man squad against Wolfsburg (a team in Germany), you can't help but get worried.
Everyone, who is a Man Utd fan, has been talking bout it...Just wad kind of Man Utd will appear against Wolfsburg???
So, i went to do a little research (very little, actually :P) and decided, mebbe I should come up with mine. :D
1stly, GK. Whatever the back four, you need a keeper who isn't jittery, who can giv confidence to any young back four in front of him. Since Van Der Sar did not travel, next in the order is none other than Tomasz Kuszczak. To be honest, I still don't understand why Ferguson still likes Ben Foster despite the obvious choice coming up with great performances so far.~~~
Let's skip the back 4 1st and go on from the front.
I reckon the front 2 will Michael Owen and Danny Welbeck, just to give Mr Owen some much needed playing time. Getting old luh sum1 :P But I'm still curious why Macheda didn't travel to Germany. :(
Now for the midfield. I don't think Oliver Norwood nor Cameron Stewart, nor Magnus Eikrem, nor Matty James (nvm if u've nv heard of them xD) will get a starting place. They'll probably be thrown into the fray if Man Utd were leading comfortably...possibly the last 10 mins or so ba. ;)
As for those who are playing, I hope Darron Gibson and Anderson gets a place, so as to protect the very fragile back four. :S Darron Gibson should play slightly in front of Anderson, coz he packs a great shot. ;) (Maybe Anderson in CDM, Darron in CM? something lyk dat~) The left and right wings will be played by Nani and...Ji-Sung Park. Time to show what you can do, Nani. Either you shape in, or ship out!!! You know, we hav Gabriel Obertan ready if we think u cmi. :P Obertan just needs a little bit more time, i hope.
So you'll have reliable subs in Antonio Valencia and Paul Scholes, in case they're needed. I think Scholes play better when he gets 2 watch the 1st part of the game, den he come on...he can read the game better that way. ;) Valencia...ever consistent. :D If they're not needed, great! Extra rest for one lao3 ah bei, and another who has been playing week in, week out. ;)
Ok now for the tricky tricky 1. I was actually thinking of resting either Michael Carrick or Darren Fletcher, but it looks like I hav 2 throw both into the fray. I reckon Fletcher will retain his right-back slot, and Evra on the left. I still don't understand how come ppl are thinking of turning Evra into a centre-back. Yea he's a defender, but centre-backs need to win headers leh, and Evra's not vry tall, and not good at heading either. So left-back it shall be. :D
Now for the big big gamble. I think other than Michael Carrick in defence, he'll be partnered by Oliver Gill. I believe Ferguson will give this guy (who is the son of some senior-executive in Man Utd's working staff) a chance. Besides, wad do man utd hav 2 lose, eh? :D
Therefore, the final 11 that I've come up with is...
Kuszczak
Fletcher Gill Carrick Evra
Anderson
Gibson
Park Nani
Owen Welback
Subs: Foster, Eikrem, Scholes (in case), Valencia (in case), Gabriel Obertan (half in-case xD), Matty James, Cameron Stewart, Oliver Norwood
I hav a reason for playing Gill and Carrick in their respective places. Although it won't really help much, but at least I think every midfielder who is playing in defence will at least have some sort of help from a defender. So yea...i'm good. ;)
Nice right? almost look like chelsea's diamond-formation XD I think I can be manager luh...i pick the players then ask sum other manager do team talk fr mi. :P
Still, I want to know why Ferguson didn't bring De Leat (a left-back) to Germany, and instead blood even more youngsters, who are midfielders. -.-
Sneaky plot?
Can't keep on loving you
from a distance...
